十八世紀的德家哲學思想家叔本華告訴我們：世界是悲慘的！人每天都無不被痛苦、悲傷、怒氣困擾著，這是長期性的摧殘。相反，人的快樂、滿足卻很短促，這都是短暫性的安慰、抽離。能夠說出這句話來，叔本華自然預計到所謂理性主義者或樂觀派的不斷抨擊。然而，世界上的事物有時候是不必多花唇舌去多作解釋的。是是非非，真真假假，有時侯，對經常抑壓自己內心世界的表達或情緒發洩的人，他們早已經失去了對各種事物的批判能力，不能再作任何的真心思考了。這就好像一層柔軟的薄薄的絲絹覆蓋在眼睛上，看到的世界其實已無形地被過濾了。而這一層薄紗就扮演著他們的道德標準，令人滿人歡悅地自我陶醉著。但其實真心早已不復存在了。最後，人所表現出來的不是自大的行為(在此且稱之為自尊心的過分擴大)，就是隨波逐流，人云亦云(在此稱為自信心的過分流失)。既而持有一份假心加一份假意來看待世界上的一事一物，再多的解釋也是徒然。

一個人的力量實在太微不足道了。什麼天下間沒有幹不了的事，什麼只要有夢想，凡事可成真，一切都只是騙人的謊言。這一個個荒謬的謊言，猶如一把利刃，深深地刺在埃塞俄比亞貧民窟裏那瘦骨嶙峋的年輕人身上；猶如一座黑壓壓的五指山，狠狠地墜落在那無辜的五歲小孩身上。這一切似乎都是富有世界與貧困世界混合在同一個地球的必然後果。

精神寄託

讀書的時候，大概我們不會想到什麼是他們一直以來精神上的寄託？究竟是哪來的力量，成為他們忍受公開考試帶來日以繼夜的煎熬的推動力？究竟是什麼力量支持著他們度過一天一天的上學日？家庭？朋友？愛情？信仰？還是父母辛苦賺回來的每月那數百元的零用錢？

靜一靜，想一想。

生活在煩囂的都市裏，每天聽到的是嘮嘮叨叨的吵雜聲，吵到一個人就是靜不下來。這就像一個安裝在耳邊卻又不能拆除的大喇叭，又像一個擺放在床邊響鬧不停的大笨鐘，巴不得人人都成為它們的朝拜者、追隨者。如此下來，人的脾氣又怎能不一天比一天差，真的，難怪患有抑鬱病、躁狂症的人也愈來愈多。

X: 今天晚上我踢完足球後，與友齊就往某大大排檔吃飯。當快要吃完的時候，我看見一位身材矮小、衣著平素的中年婦女從身旁走過，那刻，我的目光不禁轉移到她的身上，看著她走到另一張小方桌上，獨個兒坐下來，然後慢慢地吃著碗內的麵條。再細看一下，發現她左肩縫上了一塊衣服顏色相約的方形布塊。
